- Impact Assessment of the Capacity Development to Operationalize the Orissa R&R.
As part of the ongoing capacity development initiatives to Operationalize the Orissa R&R Policy 2006, CTRAN is engaged by UNDP to carry out an Impact assessment study to study the impact of the GoO- DFID-UNDP Rehabilitation projects from 2003 onwards. The study would also look at project achievements against each of the objectives as laid down in the project document, the social impact and the relevance of the project in the context of Orissa and India’s R&R Policies and make specic recommendations for effective implementation of the policy. - Preparation of District plan, District vision 2020
Preparation of District Perspective plan, District Vision 2020 and District plan 2008-09 for three districts in Orissa- Kalahandi, Cuttack and Jharsuguda.The project involved preparation of District Plans which also included district agricultural plan, plan for Backward Regions Grant Fund and other sectoral plans of other concerned departments with specific area wise development initiatives. It also included the preparation of a District Vision document. Details

- Preparation of District Human Development Report for Kalahandi district of Orissa
Planning and Coordination Department, Govt. of Orissa : The focus of the project is to present the status of human development in the district at the grassroots level. This would include key thematic issues of livelihood, nutrition, health and education with gender being the cross cutting issue for each theme. The preparation of the report would involve participation of district administration, Panchayats, academia, Panchayats and civil society organisations Details
- Rolling out Common Service Centre in 4 districts of Orissa Gajapati, Raygada, Kandhmal and Ganjam
CTRAN alongwith BASIX has signed an MoU with Govt .of Orissa for rolling out e-governance suits on kiosks in 4 most backward districts of the state Gajapati, Raygada, Kandhmal and Ganjam. The goal of the CSC Project is to empower the rural community and catalyse social change through modern technologies. With a large and heterogeneous geographical area, the private sector, if sufficiently encouraged, can play an active role in development and implementation of the CSC Project in supplementing the Governments' efforts to realise its vision for the project Details
